Temperature
Kelvin is a unit of temperature and is one of the basic units of the Si system. The Kelvin scale is given by two reference points. The absolute zero temperature corresponds to 0 Kelvin and the triple point points to 273.16 Kelvin. Compared to a unit of degrees Celsius, a temperature of 0 Kelvin corresponds to -273.15 degrees Celsius and a temperature of 273.16 corresponds to 0.01 degrees Celsius.
